Nick Cannon just had his ninth child

Nick Cannon welcomed his ninth child this week, and he couldn’t be happier.

The “Masked Singer” host proudly announced the birth of a healthy baby girl in an Instagram post on Wednesday. The image showed Cannon and LaNisha Cole, a former “The Price Is Right” model, with their child in the hospital.

“Introducing ONYX ICE COLE CANNON,” Cannon wrote. “Once again today I am in awe of the divine feminine! God has given me and @MissLanishaCole the privilege of welcoming an angel here on earth. needs, guide and love this child to the best of my ability.

Cannon’s family is already quite large. He welcomed a son named Legendary Love with model Bre Tiesi in July. He also shares twins Monroe and Moroccan, 11, with ex-wife Mariah Carey, Golden, 5, and Powerful Queen, 19 months, with model Brittany Bell, and twins Zion and Zillion, 15 months, with DJ Abby De La Rosa. Zen, the 5-month-old son of Cannon and model Alyssa Scott, died of a brain tumor last year.

Cannon also has other kids on the way. He is expecting children with Bell and De La Rosa.

“I’m learning that it’s not the limited time we have on this planet, it’s the limited amount of love that’s the problem,” Cannon wrote in his Instagram post. “And I promise to love this little girl with all my heart, no matter what…”

Cole also shared glimpses of their baby on social media. She revealed in an Instagram Story that she felt “blessed…to welcome Onyx Ice Cole Cannon into this world” and that “the joy I feel as a mother is something that has opened me up forever. the heart”.

Cannon told ET in 2021 that he was going to “take a break from having kids” and his therapist urged him to be single, and told E! News earlier this year that he was considering a vasectomy.

In his Instagram post, he alluded to past criticism of having so many children.

“At this time of celebration and jubilee, I wish to cut off all low vibrational frequencies and rejoice only with the highest class of civilization that is truly aligned with our purpose here in this dimension,” Cannon wrote. “We all learn so much from these angels that we call children.”
