NFL Week 16 weather updates: possible snow, rain in forecast could affect startup decisions, fancy sit’em

| Latest News Headlines | Yahoo news

Weather often plays a role in fantasy football playoffs, but heading into Week 16 things look relatively stable. A few places might see light snow or rain, but with no major concerns about wind and temperatures in at least the 1920s, fantasy owners have one less thing to worry about. Nevertheless, we asked Kevin Roth, RotoGrinders meteorologist To help us break down the weather updates you need to know before you make your departure decisions, have a seat.

Before we get into the Week 16 forecast, here’s a reminder that if you have any questions about sports weather or how weather impacts the game (and, potentially, your fantasy, your DFS, and your decisions game), feel free to contact RotoGrinders meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) or check out the hourly NFL weather forecast on RotoGrinders. Browns @ Packers. With sub-zero temperatures, winds of around 10 mph, and even potential snow showers, the conditions for this game aren’t ideal, but there’s nothing to worry about. As long as the wind and snow forecast remains stable, launch all players in this game as you normally would.

WEEK 16 DFS PROGRAMS: DraftKings | FanDuel | Yahoo

Invoices @ Patriots. It almost seems silly to include this game here considering how mild the forecast compared to the last time these teams played, but there is a slight chance of precipitation and winds close to 10mph. Again, that’s nothing to worry about, but if the forecast turns sour we could see another ground and pound heavy game plan, at least from New England.

WEEK 16 PPR RANKINGS:
quarterback | Back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

Bear @ Seahawks. We could have snow for this one, but it shouldn’t be too heavy or heavy for either team. (Update: Winds should now be between 10-15mph, creating potential issues for at least the kickers.)

Ravens @ Bengals. There is an increasing chance that this game will experience late showers, but overall there is no reason to worry about your Bengals or Ravens players.

STANDARD RANKING FOR WEEK 16:
quarterback | Back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

Steelers @ chefs. Winds will be between 10 and 12 mph and there is a very low risk of rain showers. For now, there’s nothing to worry about, but keep a close eye on this one as the kick-off approaches.
