New York biker’s leg severed, two others injured in Brooklyn crash


An 18-year-old motorcyclist’s leg was severed when his bike rammed the wrong way down a street into an SUV in Brooklyn on Saturday night.

A bicycle passenger suffered head injuries in the crash, which happened just before 8.30pm on Avenue C and McDonald Avenue in the Kensington section, police said.

A preliminary investigation found the motorcyclist was driving the wrong way on Avenue C when he crashed into the SUV, which was traveling north on McDonald’s, according to the NYPD.

The motorcycle was traveling the wrong way when the accident occurred.

The two injured were being treated at Bellevue Hospital.

Photos from the scene showed the victims being carried away on stretchers as a green and black motorbike lay in the street while the elderly woman driving the SUV inspected her vehicle for damage.
