New Jersey Turnpike crash involving overturned bus kills at least one: police

A double-decker bus carrying 20 people overturned on New Jersey’s turnpike shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday, killing at least one and injuring several.
Dozens of firefighters and emergency medical personnel could be seen tending to patients next to the overturned bus on the side of the highway.
Megabus told Fox News Digital there were 19 passengers and a driver on the bus, which traveled from New York to Philadelphia.
“We have personnel going on site to assess the situation,” a company spokesperson said.

The crash happened at the Thomas Edison Service Area on-ramp in Woodbridge Township, about 25 miles south of New York City.
“This is a very active scene and we ask everyone to stay clear of the area while our firefighters, medics and law enforcement work,” the Association of Woodbridge Township professional firefighters.
