Naomi Watts Opens Up About Her ‘Pretty Good Sex’ With Husband Billy Crudup

Naomi Watts talks about the “biggest key” behind having “really good sex” with her husband, Billy Crudup.
“I personally think sex becomes more enjoyable when you take the fear of having babies away,” Watts told the Daily Mail at an exclusive event in Hampton Bays on Thursday.
She then quipped: “What is that expression? “Closed for business, open for pleasure. »
Watts, 54, stressed that communication is crucial to keeping the flame alive in the bedroom.
“Like whatever you’re going through, if you can talk to your partner, if you can be honest and have a really genuine conversation and eliminate any awkwardness, and most of the time if they’re good people, they will be empathetic and it’s hot, ”explained the British actor.
“It’s really hot when you can be honest and the conversation really gets to the point where, ‘yes, we got over the awkwardness and now let’s start having fun.'”
Watts, who has been outspoken in the past about his handling of early menopause from age 36, affirmed the importance of “looking into this phase of life”, noting that “a lot of women are horny at this age”.
The Oscar nominee has revealed that when she first dated Crudup, 55, she used estrogen patches in the bedroom.
“I was nervous about my new lover seeing it,” Watts recalled, revealing that the sticky residue from the patch stayed on his skin for “days” before finally coming off.

“I would go into the bathroom just before it started and be there (cleaning it) and then come out. And my beautiful partner was like, “Are you okay? Is everything okay?'” the ‘King Kong’ star continued.
Watts gloated over Crudup’s sensitivity to him after bringing “honesty into the room”. She praised his ability to understand “signals” in their intimate moments, no matter how “awkward” it seemed.
“I was so ashamed about it – he knew how to behave, he knew what signals to follow, he was 100 per cent empathetic and I can safely say we continued to have, you know, great sex. that night,” she said. recalled.
“It gets exhausting having all these rules and ideology about physical appearance, so I tend to find myself in a position where I just need to get what I want and say it boldly. ”
When asked what her favorite sex position in the sheets was, Watts wasn’t shy about keeping it real.
” Up down. At the moment, I’m not picky,” she replied.
The couple tied the knot in June after meeting on set when they starred in the 2017 Netflix series “Gypsy.”
Watts was previously married to fellow actor Liev Schreiber for 11 years. The two divorced in 2016 and share two children: Sasha, 16, and Kai, 14.
Crudup dated his ex-girlfriend, Mary-Louise Parker, for eight years until they separated in 2003 after leaving Parker, then pregnant, for Claire Danes.
The Danes and Crudup then parted ways in 2007.
Last June, Watts announced their nuptials by sharing an adorable photo on Instagram of the lovebirds on the steps of a courthouse.
