A suspect who allegedly shot an Oklahoma lawmaker seven times was found dead Friday night with his ex-wife, the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation confirmed.

Authorities had launched a manhunt against Braedon Chesser, 27, after he shot dead a Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Deputy in a standoff at his home on Friday morning. The deputies had responded to a call for domestic disturbances.

Chesser was found in the woods behind his house and his wife was inside the house. Authorities have given no details of their deaths.
