Logan Paul says his brother Jake Paul is ‘poor’ after cryptocurrency crash after investing chunks with net worth of $50m

Logan Paul says his brother Jake is “poor” after the cryptocurrency market crash.

Last month, Celebrity Net Worth estimated Paul was worth around $50 million, and the problematic kid is thought to have earned $40 million fighting in the last year alone.

However, it looks like he lost a lot of his fortune after the crypto crash.

Speaking on his Impaulsive podcast, Logan says Jake’s decision to put his money in various cryptocurrencies isn’t paying off.

Logan dropped the bomb when co-hosts George Janko and Mike Majlak hailed his little brother’s success in the ring.

“It’s been going pretty well, he’s won every fight he’s had,” Janko remarked, before Majlak added, “He won about $40 million last year.”

That’s when Logan chimed in to say, “That’s okay, he put it all in crypto…he’s poor.”

The crypto market has taken a huge hit in recent months, with Bitcoin crashing towards $20,000 this week. According to Forbes, this is the lowest since December 2020.

Cryptocurrency is a form of money that exists digitally or virtually and uses cryptography to secure transactions.

Cryptocurrencies have no central issuing or regulatory authority and the appeal of this for many is that banks or the government are not involved in their money.

Jake has gone 5-0 as a professional boxer and his last three fights in particular have caught the attention of the mainstream.

The 25-year-old knocked out Ben Askren in one round then beat Tyron Woodley twice; first via points and the second time thanks to a stunning knockout.

The couple were due to meet on December 18. Fury wants to reorganize and could get his wish on August 13

His next fight might just be the most lucrative of them all, though. Paul is in talks to rearrange the previously canceled fight with Tommy Fury, younger brother of heavyweight king Tyson.

Fury’s father John confirmed the talks: “We are looking into Jake Paul’s situation, but there is a long way to go.

“It’s still being negotiated and pending, lawyers are working on it as we speak.”

It would undoubtedly bring big payday for both men and Paul has already said he will fight on August 13 regardless of who he is up against.
