Liberal media blasted for economic coverage as Biden admin redefines recession: ‘Gaslighting Americans’

District Media Group President Beverly Hallberg said Friday in “Fox & Friends First” that the Biden administration, aided by many mainstream media pundits, is “educating” Americans on the economy. Hallberg criticized reporters for quickly embracing White House talking points that sought to redefine a recession.

BEVERLY HALBERG: It’s hard to tell these days who is a journalist and who is paid by the Biden administration payroll. What you see is that journalists and media seem to be in tune with the Democratic talking points. It seems like they’re actually talking to each other, not only praising the president when he’s obviously not doing well, but also, as you mentioned, redefining words like recession and woman, even to the point of contradicting what they reported before. So I think it’s a poor attempt by the media to try to trick Americans into believing that the pain they’re feeling isn’t as bad as they think it is. But I think it’s going badly for the establishment and the media because they’re going to keep losing customers if they waste Americans.
