It was a massive win for Leeds who haven’t had much to smile about this season
It was a nervous affair between two teams desperate for three points, but it was the hosts who broke the deadlock late in the first half thanks to Jack Harrison.
The winger took advantage of a mistake by James Tarkowksi before running over him.
After Harrison’s quick feet he got a shot which was parried by Wayne Hennessey, but the winger reacted quickly to insert himself at the near post.
It was a huge goal for Marcelo Bielsa who was in desperate need of points given the club’s current situation.

Harrison was very successful in creating even a scoring opportunity, let alone finding the net
Burnley responded in the second half with a superb free kick from the summer signing of Maxwel Cornet.
The Ivorian winger beautifully folded the ball around the Leeds wall and passed goalkeeper Illan Meslier.
As he and his teammates celebrated in the corner where Leeds fans were, some supporters felt the need to throw things at players with a bottle hitting Lowton.
It was an unsavory scene and one that could have repercussions.

Sadly, Lowton and his teammates have been targeted by some of the Leeds fans
As the game progressed, both teams looked to take the lead and it would be the home team that would take the lead thanks to Stuart Dallas.
The Northern Irishman curled up in a magnificent 20-yard effort after the hosts worked on a short corner.
The day would be even better for Bielsa after Dan James managed a Joe Gelhardt cross to overtake Hennessey and secure a huge win for the Yorkshire side.
The result puts them eight points ahead of 18th Burnley, who will desperately need to get the most points from their two games in hand.
