LeBron James Celebrates Son Bronny’s High School Graduation: ‘Keep Flying’

They grow so fast!
Bronny James, the eldest son of Lakers superstar LeBron James, celebrated his graduation from Sierra Canyon High School on Thursday — weeks after announcing his commitment to USC.
“Keep flying high,” LeBron posted on Instagram alongside a crown emoji.
The proud dad also shared a clip of the moment Bronny, 18, accepted his degree at the ceremony as he was live for thousands of viewers on his son’s special day.
A smiling Bronny could be seen in his cap and robe pointing at the camera in a photo posted by LeBron’s mother, Gloria James.
“You have always made me very proud of you. And seeing you graduate tonight made me feel an even greater sense of pride,” the grandmother wrote in a heartfelt caption.
“Keep spreading your wings and reaching new heights. Love you so much, Grammy,” she added.

The 18-year-old also recently stepped out with his supposed high school sweetheart, Peyton Gelfuso, for the prom at Sierra Canyon.
Bronny rocked his silky black Chrome Hearts blazer, which he went shirtless in, and wore a snazzy pair of designer Dior shoes for the big night.
“Lost for words,” Bronny’s mother, Savannah James, posted on her Instagram showing off the prom cut.

Bronny has been in the headlines all year after his senior year at Sierra Canyon.
The high school phenom ranked No. 19 in the ESPN 100 among the Class of 2023, averaging 13.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.8 steals.
But now the 6-foot-3 guard will stay in California to play on a talent-laden Pac-12 USC team for the 2023-24 regular season.

Bronny joins USC star guard Boogie Ellis, 5-star rookie Isaiah Collier, 4-star rookie Arrinten Page and Washington State transfer forward DJ Rodman (son of Dennis Rodman).
“It’s an amazing thing,” LeBron said of Bronny in college. “Unless it was one of my great-grandmothers or great-grandfathers who was way before my time, as far as I know, he’s the first of James’s gang to go to college .
“Obviously his father didn’t go to school, his mother didn’t go to university. I think my mom might have walked around campus a little bit, community college or something, but she had my little ass running around so she couldn’t spend a lot of time in class, ”added the Lakers superstar.

LeBron was asked about his aspirations to play with Bronny, although the four-time NBA champion left room for doubt following a 4-0 Lakers outing after being swept in the Western Conference Finals.
“I did what I had to do in this league, and my son is going to have his way,” he said when asked after being knocked out. “And whatever his journey, whatever his journey, he will do what is best for him. And like his father and mother, Savannah, and his brother and sister, we will support him in whatever he decides to do…”
