Lawrence Jones reveals how Planned Parenthood targets women of color

“Cross Country” host Lawrence Jones explained how the arguably racist legacy of Planned Parenthood still lingers today in Saturday’s monologue.

LAURENT JONES: I thought the Democrats were done with Margaret Sanger. But if so, why is Janet Yellen repeating her manifesto to Congress? Of course, we all knew that was just window dressing. Just because they removed its name from a building doesn’t mean they’re divorced from its guiding principles. If you don’t believe me, just look at the location of Planned Parenthood facilities. A 2017 report from the Life Issues Institute found that 88% of Planned Parenthood mega-centers target women of color, with 80% specifically targeting black communities, and 56% targeting Hispanic and Latino neighborhoods. These are just numbers. You see, the secretary has a doctorate from Harvard, so she’s not an idiot. She was very clear here. She’s talking about black teenage girls. She says they cannot continue their studies if they choose life. They cannot participate in the labor market if they choose life. They are not able to take care of their children, so do not choose life, otherwise these children will grow up in poverty and become worse themselves. Sanger had a definition for that. She called these mothers unfit. His factors in determining whether someone was unfit boiled down to race, physical and socio-economic qualifications, and mental fitness.

It is time for our leaders to make a choice. Because life shouldn’t be a matter of political expediency. Either you are for life from the belly to the grave, or you are not at all.
