Lance Reddick’s Wife Stephanie Reddick Shares Touching Tribute To Her Late Husband

Stephanie Reddick, wife of late actor Lance Reddick, spoke of fan support for her and her family just a day after her husband’s death.
Lance Reddick, 60, was found dead Friday at his home in Los Angeles. He died suddenly of “natural causes”, his publicist told several news outlets. TMZ was the first to report the actor’s death.
He was known for several roles during his career, including his time as Lieutenant Cedric Daniels in “The Wire”, his portrayal of Charon in the “John Wick” films, and his voice role as Commander Zavala in the video games “Destiny” and “Destiny 2.”
Stephanie Reddick, who married the actor in 2011, thanked her fans on Saturday and noted that he “was taken from us way too soon.”
“Thank you for all your love, support and beautiful stories shared on these platforms over the past day,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I see your messages and I can’t begin to express how grateful I am to have them. And to the thousands of Destiny players who paid tribute to Lance, thank you. Lance loved you as much as he loved the game .
Several stars, including “John Wick” actor Keanu Reeves and “The Wire” creator David Simon, paid tribute to Reddick following news of his death.
Wendell Pierce, actor of “The Wire”, in a Twitter postcalled Reddick “a man of great strength and grace” on Friday.
“Musician as talented as actor. The epitome of class,” Pierce wrote. “A sudden and unexpected painful bereavement for our artistic family. Unimaginable suffering for his personal family and loved ones. Good luck my friend. You have made your mark here. RIP.”
The actor is survived by his wife and children, Yvonne Nicole Reddick and Christopher Reddick.
