Kilmeade: Democrat Party hits ‘historic low’

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Brian Kilmeade said there’s one thing Republicans and Democrats can agree on: that Republicans are in line for a “huge midterm blowout” Saturday on “One Nation.”

BRIAN KILMEADE: It’s really rare in Washington to get both parties to agree. But that’s exactly what happens when you ask leaders on either side, “Which party has the most momentum heading into the midterm elections?” Right now, we all agree it’s the Republicans. And who is responsible for this trend? It’s the Democrats. The Dems broke. The Democratic Party, led by Joe Biden, has reached a historic low. You have Republicans in a prime position to have a huge midterm blowout, don’t you? And you wonder if Joe Biden will actually pass the term himself. These are my own thoughts.

Let’s be clear, this is not the story of a Republican comeback. This is the story of a Democratic implosion. Let’s start with the US bailout for a country that didn’t need rescuing, writing checks on accounts with no funds to donate to causes with no identified need. Then there are the actions, and lack thereof, on rising inflation. It won’t leave as quickly as promised.

The results are obvious, even for a Democratic stalwart like former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers under President Obama. Now our president has fallen flat on his stomach in Afghanistan. He embarrassed this country on the world stage. President Biden decided alone to end the pandemic.

We didn’t need his advice on how to get together then, and we certainly don’t need bad advice now.
