Kevin McCarthy promises subpoenas for 51 Intel agents in wake of Hunter Biden ‘Twitter files’
House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy said on FNC’s ‘One Nation’ on Saturday that he would bring the 51 intelligence officers who signed a letter saying Hunter Biden’s information was collusion with Russia to testify at the of a congressional hearing.
Host Brian Kilmeade asked: ‘We’ve seen the revelations come out of Twitter as Elon Musk unmasks the corruption that existed there and the denials they gave. So for you personally, you have another move you want to make. Not only do we want to hear from former executives of Twitter and other entities, but you have something else to say.
McCarthy said, yes, I do. It is obvious what we see. They shouldn’t have section 230 initially, but we also need to go further. What Facebook and Google did also because they became a branch of the Democratic Party and a branch of government.
He continued: “These 51 intelligence officers who signed a letter saying Hunter Biden’s information was all false – was collusion with Russia – many of them have security clearances. We will bring them before the committee. I’m going to ask them to have an audience. Why did they sign it? Why did they lie to the American public? A Clap, a Brennan? Why did you use the reputation that America was able to give you more information, but you used it for political gain and lied to the American public? »
