Katie Taylor names Chantelle Cameron for May 20 fight after Amanda Serrano’s rematch was canceled as Irish star plans to become undisputed two-weight champion

Katie Taylor has called out Chantelle Cameron for an undisputed world welterweight title fight on May 20 in Dublin, Ireland.
Taylor was scheduled to defend her undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO world lightweight titles in a rematch with Amanda Serrano on that date, but Serrano has now pulled out due to injury.

It has been suggested the date could be pushed back, but the Irish star is apparently not keen on the idea.
Instead, she uncharacteristically took to social media to call for a showdown with Britain’s Cameron, who holds the undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO world titles in the division above her – super- light.
Taylor posted on Thursday: “”Let’s do it @EddieHearn, this homecoming has been long enough!
“@3ArenaDublin is available so let’s give Ireland a night to remember on May 20th.
“Let’s go @ChanCam91, happy to move up in weight for the opportunity to become an undisputed two-weight champion.”

Cameron replied, “@Katie_T86 I’m more than happy to accept!!
“Like you, I only want to fight the best.
“I’m not hard to deal with, so this fight can be signed, sealed and delivered in 24 hours. @DAZNBoxing @MatchroomBoxing @JamieMoore777 @FrankSmith @EddieHearn Let’s go!
If Taylor were to win, she would achieve an amazing feat of being crowned the undisputed champion in two weight classes.
