Katharine McPhee blames “woke” voters for rising crime in Beverly Hills.

On his Instagram story on Wednesday, the “American Idol” alum expressed his frustration with the “sad state” of Los Angeles.

“I blame all of you woke voters,” she said. “Older people are getting beat up while walking. Keep voting for this. What a sorry state this town is in.”

During McPhee’s rant, the singer said she would no longer wear her expensive jewelry, especially on her wrists and fingers, while she moved to Los Angeles. In her posts, she also mentioned her endorsement of Los Angeles mayoral candidate Rick Caruso.

In his first Instagram Story, McPhee, 38, re-shared a post about an elderly man who was ‘jumped’, ‘molested and beaten’ in the posh town.

“This is literally my worry and thought every time I go out now. We need @rickcarusola,” she wrote alongside the post. McPhee continued, “What is this world going to become?”

The singer said she no longer felt comfortable wearing expensive jewelry in Los Angeles.

Her next slide showed a conversation with her friend, Sara Mann, who advised her not to wear expensive jewelry. “Don’t wear your Rolex,” Mann told McPhee. McPhee replied, “No rings, no watches.”

“This is the real text/convos you have with your family and friends about living in LA now. We need @rickcarusola,” she wrote alongside the screenshot.

McPhee then uploaded an image of herself with both hands up to prove she didn’t have any expensive jewelry. “No more rings or anything in LA,” she wrote before tagging Caruso again.

This isn’t the first time the “American Idol” alum has shared her thoughts on politics.

In February, McPhee slammed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams for posing without a mask with a group of school children despite having a mandate in place.

“What the hell…politicians at their best. Mask the kids and you sit yourself without a mask. The hypocrisy continues,” McPhee wrote on his Instagram story at the era. “I’m sure she’ll say… ‘but I had my mask in my hand!'”

Abrams had previously responded to the backlash caused by the photo after sitting Georgia Governor Brian Kemp joined several other conservatives in criticizing the candidate over the photo.

“It is shameful that our opponents are using a Black History Month reading event for Georgian children as impetus for a bogus political attack, and it is pitiful and predictable that our opponents continue to look for opportunities to hijack the attention to their failed records when it comes to protecting public health during the pandemic,” read a statement from his campaign posted on Instagram.
