Kanye West’s 2020 election loss could lead to another baffling decision

Rapper and fashion designer Kanye West, who changed his name to Ye last year, isn’t letting his failed 2020 presidential campaign rule him out in 2024.

The “Donda” rapper, who conceded his presidential run after receiving an estimated 60,000 votes in 2020, reportedly gave $6.8 million to his own campaign, ABC News reported.

He told Davis he “absolutely” still had political aspirations, responding with a faith-based message.

″[2020] was not in God’s time. I’m sure there are lives that have been saved, I’m sure God made me fall on the sword and say now is not the time, but he is a redeemer,” West said. .

West also said he thought Miami Mayor Francis Suarez (right) would also make a “very good president”.

You can watch a clip from his interview with Davis below.

The rapper has previously teased that he may announce a 2024 presidential bid.

West, who conceded the day after the 2020 election, wrote “Kanye 2024” above a photo of himself.

The rapper hasn’t posted a tweet since hinting at a future campaign.
