Kamaru Usman gives his one-word prediction for Jorge Masvidal vs. Colby Covington at UFC 272

Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington will finally have it at UFC 272 in March and one man qualified to make a prediction on the fight is Kamaru Usman.
The UFC welterweight champion defended his crown against both men twice and in all four fights he was victorious.

The story involved in the rivalry between Masvidal and Covington is what makes this battle so intriguing.
The pair trained and even lived together during their time at American Top Team, but Covington left the gym after it was alleged he failed to pay for his spot after defeating Damien Maia.
Masvidal is still a member of the gym and the two sides have shot each other many times over the past few years. Now they will settle their differences on March 5.
The Nigerian nightmare backed Chaos to win in the battle against its previous foes, posting a Snapchat story in response to a fan with: “Colby”.

Usman is an incredible 20-1 with his only loss in his second professional fight. He is on a 15-fight UFC winning streak and is currently number one on the company’s pound-for-pound list.
However, it would be fair to say that Covington pushed the closest champion to defeat of any in that span, especially when they first met.
Chaos is out for revenge when he takes on Masvidal and he went so far as to say he will shave years off Masvidal’s life.
“I just want to be locked in a cage with this clown. I just want to be locked in a cage with Jorge ‘Street Judas’ Masvidal more than I want anything in the world,” Covington told Submission Radio.

“This guy must be for all the things he said about me, but if he doesn’t show up, that’s okay too, he loses all that credibility and respect in the fighting community.
“He’s not a real fighter, this dude is a fragile little b****. He’s a clown, an impostor and a Judas. He turned his back on me for no reason and it’s all his fault.
“I definitely take at least five years off his life. This beef is more personal and more hateful than I’ve ever had for anything in my life.
