Kamala Harris says she will run with Joe Biden in 2024

Joe Biden announced on Tuesday that he would run for re-election and seek office again in 2024, with Vice President Kamala Harris taking the opportunity to confirm she would be on his side.

Harris released a statement outlining his goals while calling the 2024 presidential election a “pivotal moment in our history.”

Her aspirations to run again are contrary to what the vast majority of voters think of her contributions so far, with critics viewing her as impatiently stumbling from one disappointment to the next.

“For two years, we have made transformational investments to build a nation where everyone can be safe and healthy, find good jobs and retire with dignity,” she said, before challenging the call for Biden’s unity and to turn against his Republican opponents.

She excoriated GOP members as “extremists” and accused party candidates of wanting to “roll back” the country while taking to social media to praise herself and Biden for their efforts.

The Vice President further stated in her attack on the GOP:

In response, extremists have escalated attacks on basic and fundamental rights and freedoms.

For example, they want to take away a woman’s right to make decisions about her own body. They attack the sacred right to vote and attempt to silence the voice of the people. And they are trying to block common sense reforms to save lives and protect Americans from gun violence.

Harris added, “Republicans running for president want to roll back our country. We won’t let that happen.

“Just like we did in 2020, we must come together to fight for our democracy, keep moving forward, and make sure all Americans can move forward and prosper. Joe and I look forward to finishing the job, to win this battle for the soul of the nation and to serve the American people for four more years in the White House,” she concluded.
