Kamala Harris ‘Playing Games Again’ With Second Amendment Euphemisms, Lawyer Says

Lawyer Colion Noir called out Vice President Kamala Harris for welcoming mandatory gun confiscation in Australia in the 1990s. The Second Amendment advocate told “The Ingraham Angle” that the situation in Maine this week highlighted why legal gun ownership is important to Americans. “Nobody needs a gun, until you need one,” Black argued, after a suspected mass shooter evaded police after attacking a bar and bowling alley.

BLACK COLION: The irony is that Maine is considered the second safest state in the country. And they’re also considered one of the most pro-gun states in the country. The problem is that when we live in a very safe environment, we sometimes become lulled into complacency. And when we think we’re safe because we feel safe, that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re safe. And then when you start to realize that, you know, maybe I should get a gun, that usually happens when it’s too late. And that’s why people are now saying, “Well, now there’s a manhunt going on and the police don’t know where he is.” And now you’re at home, you don’t have a gun and you have no way to protect yourself, and neither do the police because they are too busy looking for the guy. So that’s the one thing I’ve always tried to get people to understand about the Second Amendment. It’s there to give you the ability to protect yourself and your family, and I just wish people understood that. But because of the semantics and games the left likes to play about the Second Amendment, they fall into this belief system that no one needs a gun. Until you do, and by then it’s too late.

Vice President Kamala Harris welcomed gun control laws in Australia, where citizens do not have the legal right to own a firearm and where mass confiscation of firearms took place in the 1990s, during ‘a speech delivered on Thursday.

Harris said Australia’s gun laws proved mass shootings did not have to be a regular occurrence, during his remarks at a State Department luncheon earlier in the day with the Prime Minister. Australian Minister Anthony Albanese. His comments came after a filming in Lewiston, Maine, Wednesday left at least 18 dead and more than a dozen injured.

“As we gather details, we must continue to tell the truth about the moment we find ourselves in,” Harris said. “In our country today, the leading cause of death of American children is gun violence. Gun violence has terrorized and traumatized so many of our communities in the United States.”

Black and host Laura Ingraham agreed that gun confiscation is the left’s “dream” and that Democratic politicians often describe it using euphemisms like “buybacks.”
