Jimmy Kimmel mocked the “meeting of fools” between Donald Trump, Kanye West and notorious white nationalist Nick Fuentes at the former president’s Mar-a-Lago home on Monday.
Trump tried to deflect outrage over his dinner with Fuentes by saying he was a “guest I had never met and knew nothing about.” It’s “the same thing he says every time Eric comes to eat,” Kimmel said.
Kimmel also explained why he loved seeing rapper West, who now goes by the name Ye, ask Trump to be his running mate.
“But to recap, Kanye West went to Mar-a-Lago to have dinner with Donald Trump, which sounds like the start of a joke,” he said. “And as a plus one, he brought in a well-known white supremacist Holocaust denier that Trump claims he didn’t know about.”
“What’s worse?” Kimmel asked. “Inviting the guy to dinner or not knowing you’re letting a racist rambling into a house that was, until very recently, full of unguarded top secret documents?” Two words typed on your phone and you know you’re eating with a bastard.
