Jimmy John Liautaud: America’s best days are still ahead of us, but we need to secure the election

The founder of Jimmy John’s restaurant chain, Jimmy John Liautaud, told Breitbart News that despite the problems facing the United States today, America’s best days are yet to come and that the integrity of elections must be ensured for this to happen.

“They armed the federal courts, the IRS, the CIA and the FBI, they completely armed it,” Liautaud told Breitbart News at Turning Point USA’s annual AmericaFest in Phoenix, Arizona.

“And look what they did to Mr. Trump. Like it or not, what they did to him was horrific – and they had all the information on Biden this whole time, and they covered it all up,” Liautaud added, likely referring to the shady affairs and scandals of Biden. the Biden family, much of which was found on Hunter Biden’s laptop, which the intelligence community censored during the 2020 presidential campaign in collusion with social media platforms.

“And we’re a day behind without our income tax payment or our sales tax payment, and all of a sudden we’re in jail – and these guys are all running around, getting millions of dollars,” said the Jimmy John founder.

Liautaud went on to say, “My father is mixed race, my mother a Lithuanian immigrant, I am a dyslexic, uneducated and self-made billionaire. This will not happen again. »

After being asked if America’s best days were behind her, Liautaud replied, “No way – there’s no way we’re giving up.”

“We’re just going to leave these people in power who shouldn’t have power – take them out of power,” he said. “We have to have a voter ID card, we have to have term limits.”

Liautaud added that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (right) got it right on election integrity.

“He locked down Florida, made rules, they got a voter ID card and look what happened,” he said. “And they did their count in three hours. Let DeSantis handle things, let’s make everything work properly.
