LAURA INGRAHAM: Disney is sticking to its plans, it seems, to step up political involvement in the culture wars. Now, if you’re wondering how and why Disney went from a family entertainment company to an activist front group, well, we’ve got more information for you tonight.
Now Disney is claiming its new awakened identity is just good business. It’s about targeting their Gen Z customers. But in this leaked online forum with Disney employees obtained by reporter Chris Rufo, we learned Disney’s true motivation, and it goes even further.

Now remember, it was just a few weeks ago when a small percentage of activist employees supported by many outside groups went wild when the company took no position on the bill on Florida parental rights. Now remember, the bill prohibits teachers of very young children from talking about topics related to sexual and gender identity in the classroom. It’s a big problem. Now these activists have staged walkouts and pelted the CEO of Disney with complaints and, naturally, that sad vision of one man has faded. It’s really painful to watch, and it can also be painful for Disney shareholders. Maybe they should remind their executives who pays the bills for things like this – its streaming service and of course, the very expensive theme park entrance fees. And listen [CEO Bob] Chapek, it looks like this is just the first political battle Disney will get into over its new identity.
