If House GOP subpoenas Hunter Biden, Senate Democrats should go after Jared and Ivanka

Former Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) told ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday that if House Republicans subpoena President Joe Biden’s son Hunter, Senate Democrats should investigate the Biden’s daughter. former President Donald Trump, Ivanka, and her son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Discussing Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), Heitkamp said, “I think Joe has to decide if he’s going to run again, right? So that’s what’s interesting. He will not become a Republican. He’s going to keep doing what he’s always done, which is speaking his mind and, you know, making deals, like the Cut Inflation Act, which a lot of Democrats finally did.

She added: “And so when you look at that, the whole dynamic of the Senate right now, it’s really — when you say you don’t know what they’re going to do with the subpoena power, you heard what Elizabeth Warren is talking about doing, subpoenaing Jared and Ivanka to talk about the $2 billion Saudi case and that’s a stroke of the bow if you want to sue, you know, the Joe Biden’s son in the House — maybe we should look at the deals Jared and Ivanka made when they were in the White House.
