Gisele Bündchen didn’t seem upset about Tom Brady’s recent retirement from football – she heard the same news exactly a year ago to the day.
The 42-year-old model, who finalized her divorce from the quarterback in October, is claiming his own status in the spotlight after putting his career on hold for years to help raise their children as he became one of the most coveted in the NFL. names in history.

Although she’s maintained a supporting role in Brady’s career over the past few years, Schiffer noted that Bündchen’s desire to be back on camera isn’t surprising.
“This seismic shift is in her best interest if it makes her happy, feels powerful, and aligns with her view of herself at this point in Gisele’s life,” he said. “Gisele’s potential to become famous again has never been destroyed, and so many people support her.”
From recent photos, the mother-of-two is ready for any campaign that comes her way.

The quarterback, who won six Super Bowl championships with the New England Patriots and then another ring with the Bucs, announced his first retirement from the NFL in February 2022 after 22 seasons. Only 40 days later, he revealed he was returning to the game.

Bündchen assumed Brady would have more time to spend with family when he retired after years on the road as the winningest quarterback in NFL history. She admitted in an October 2022 interview with Elle magazine that she had “conversations with him over and over again” about him continuing to act at 45.
“I did my part, that is to say [to] to be there for [Tom]. I moved to Boston and focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up and be there to support him and his dreams,” she said. “Seeing my children succeed and become the beautiful little humans that they see him succeed and flourish in his career, that makes me happy.
“At this point in my life, I feel like I’ve done a good job at it. I have a huge list of things I need to do, want to do. At 42, I feel more connected with my purpose.”
As well as Brady’s 15-year-old son Jack, the couple have Vivian, 10, and Benjamin, 12.
His desire to play football again seemed to be the catalyst that pulled them apart. After months of speculation over the end of the relationship, the couple announced that their divorce had been finalized in October via social media.
“In recent days my wife and I finalized our divorce after 13 years of marriage,” Brady wrote. “We have come to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we have spent together.”

Bündchen added: “The decision to end a marriage is never easy, but we have separated and although it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time that we have spent together and I only wish the best for Tom always.”
Brady announced his second retirement from the NFL on Wednesday – a year after making the decision to retire just to return several weeks later for his third season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
“I’m retiring – for good. I know the process was pretty big last time. So when I woke up this morning I thought I’d hit the ‘record’ button and tell you I’ll let you know first. So I’m going to ‘You only get one super emotional retreat try and I used mine last year,'” Brady said.
