Hilarious Moment 6-Year-Old Belts Out ‘Let It Go’ During Silent Flight

A belted 6-year-old girl Snow Queen “Let It Go” in the business section of a leisurely flight in a fun moment captured on video.
Young Amaya Patel was flying with the rest of her family from London to Dubai for their first vacation since the pandemic when she listened to the lively musical through her headphones. She soon started singing the hit song “Let it Go” with all her heart, giving an impromptu performance to the other passengers.
Mum Anika, 37, captured the moment on video, which has been viewed over 1.5 million times and liked over 200,000 on TikTok. Amaya’s aunt Shree, who posted the video on social media, said the seatbelt sign was on so no one could go and tell her she was singing out loud.

Anika, a lawyer from London, said: “It was Amaya’s first time really using headphones and she chose to watch Frozen because it’s his favorite movie. Of course, ‘Let It Go’ is his favorite song in Frozen and when the song came, she got caught up in the moment and started singing exuberantly.
“I called her to try to get her attention, but she couldn’t hear me because of the headphones. I was also unable to leave my seat at the time, so I couldn’t physically go to she didn’t sing the whole song and that, at most, she sang for about 30 seconds.
“When I was able to get to her, I explained to her that although she couldn’t hear anyone because of the headphones, everyone could still hear her. She was very surprised – she had completely forgotten the fact that she was singing loud and other people could hear it.”
The mother said there was no one seated in the rows in front or behind her and no one complained about the performance. She added: “Our kids have wanted to go on vacation for a long time and we wanted this trip to be a surprise so we told them we probably won’t be able to go on vacation until at least next year due to COVID.

“We even made up an excuse to go to the airport and get some luggage. Even though Amaya was suspicious, she’s still young enough that we could bear the surprise. We asked the lady at check-in to reveal to the girls that we were, in fact, going on vacation and they were absolutely thrilled and overjoyed.”
Her children wanted to be woken up for their flight takeoff just after 9 p.m. and as they were among the first passengers to board, they put on a film for the children.
She explained to her daughter Amaya that she shouldn’t make noise on planes because some people might be sleeping and it might bother them, especially babies. As soon as the girl became conscious, she immediately feared that she had woken someone up, but luckily no one was disturbed. She said the family was shocked by the attention to the video.
She added: “I thought it was a funny and cute moment – the pure innocence and joy of a child and being lost in the moment and I knew my family would love to see it so I sent the clip to my immediate family. It never even crossed over. I thought it would get half the views, let alone go viral.”
