Heung-min Son scored and assisted as Tottenham moved into the top four with a 5-1 win over Newcastle.
Spurs fell behind at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Fabian Schar fired in a free-kick after Son fouled Joe Willock at the edge of the box.
But the home side hit back immediately as Ben Davies headed in Son’s threatening cross from the left.
The game was turned upside down when Matt Doherty headed the ball in, before Son shot with his left foot after a quick counterattack.
Emerson Royal led Antonio Conte’s men 4-1 as he finished off a deflected Doherty cross before substitute Steven Bergwijn completed the victory.
The result sees Spurs overtake Arsenal in fourth, however, the Gunners will reclaim the final Champions League spot if they avoid defeat at Crystal Palace on Monday night.
Five wins from the last six games, inspired by the first three of Harry Kane, Son and Dejan Kulusevski, have revived hopes of a return to Europe’s top tier and their fate could come down to their home game with Arsenal, which won hasn’t been rearranged yet.
They were just too good for the Magpies, who are now down three in a row and sit nine points above the drop zone.

Eddie Howe’s side came on and deployed a tactic Spurs are known to struggle with as they sat deep and denied the hosts space in the final third.
And it worked for the majority of the first half because even though Spurs had plenty of the ball, they couldn’t create anything neat.
Then things got even better for the visitors who took the lead in the 39th minute.
Son fouled Willock at the edge of the box and Schar sent a low free kick around the wall and past Hugo Lloris, who got his hands on it and was disappointed not to keep it clear.
But it was as good as it gets for Newcastle as Antonio Conte’s men fought back in style.
They quickly got back on track when Davies peeked home from Son’s cross after Spurs recycled a corner.
It gave the hosts the platform to continue in the second half and win the game and they enjoyed it with both hands, scoring three goals in 18 minutes.
Doherty put them ahead in the 48th minute, arriving late at the far post to signal Kane’s superb ball past goal.
Goal of the match came six minutes later as Spurs’ in-form front three combined in style.
Kane released Kulusevski on the right, the Swede picked Son, who checked and fired into the corner from 10 yards out.
The fourth goal, in the 63rd minute, came from a more unexpected source as Emerson, only playing through Sergio Reguilon’s injury, pushed in at the near post from Doherty’s cross.
Spurs should have made it five, but Son rolled an effort wide after Kane’s 40-yard pass played him on goal.
They eventually scored a fifth – for the second time in three home games – as Bergwijn scored two minutes after coming on, heading home after being sent off by Lucas Moura.
