“Have a pleasure”…. And yes! Toulouse has just been voted the most polite city in France

According to a study carried out on the language course platform Preply, the Pink City is the most polite city in France, far ahead of our Lyon friends.
“Hello”, “please excuse me”, “have a nice day!” These simple words visibly resonate like poetry in the ears of our friends in France, since they are the ones who elected Toulouse, the most polite city in France. And the inimitable “with pleasure” pronounced at the end of a conversation certainly has nothing to do with this ranking.
In total, 1,500 residents of the 15 largest French cities participated in the study carried out by the Preply platform in which they were asked to define the frequency with which they witnessed rude behavior in their city. They were also questioned about this stereotype that sticks to the skin of the French: our rudeness.
Lyon is not great
We will not prolong the suspense, Lyon therefore takes the prize in this area. Thus the individuals interviewed noted a number of unfriendly behaviors in the capital of Gaul: not picking up dog excrement, being noisy in public, not saying thank you to the driver when leaving the bus… Ways of doing things, which would seem -he, would be much less widespread in Toulouse, which therefore obtains the title of the most polite city in France just ahead of Strasbourg and Rennes.
