Officials said the shooter streamed the attack live on Twitch, the Amazon-owned live-streaming site popular with gamers.
Twitch said it took the channel offline. The channel’s page only stated that it was “currently unavailable due to a violation of the Community Guidelines or Twitch’s Terms of Service.”
In a statement, a spokeswoman for Twitch said the site “has a zero-tolerance policy against violence of any kind and works quickly to respond to all incidents. The user has been suspended from our service indefinitely, and we take all appropriate measures, including monitoring any account reposting this content.
