Guardiola’s side look to bounce back from PSG disappointment in Champions League clash

Manchester City will be hoping to get their Champions League group stage campaign back on track when they face Club Brugge tonight.
Pep Guardiola’s side had a mixed start to their European campaign after their victory over RB Leipzig was followed by a 2-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
The champions of Belgium and England face each other on Tuesday evening
A trip to Bruges will be a challenge, but one that the Citizens will be keen to take up.
Philippe Clément’s team are reigning champions in Belgium and will seek to make a real statement against the champions of England.
These two teams have never met in competition and a win for either would put them at the top of the group ahead of PSG’s clash with Leipzig later tonight.

Club Brugge v Manchester City: team news
The Belgian champions enter the clash without any concern for selection because Clément has a team in great shape to choose from.
Former Liverpool and Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is likely to be involved, as is Scotland international Jack Hendry.
Meanwhile, City will be without defender John Stones.
The England center-back has not traveled for personal reasons, but Brazil’s pair Ederson and Gabriel Jesus could return after flying directly to Belgium after his international service last week.
Ferran Torres came out with a broken foot but Ilkay Gundogan and Oleksandr Zinchenko are back in contention.
Gabriel Jesus and his Brazilian teammate Ederson will be back in the running for this one
Club Brugge vs Manchester City: what has been said?
Pep Guardiola spoke about the Club Brugge threat, saying: “Up above what we have seen is the physique, they know what to do, an incredibly aggressive team.
“(They have) a lot of quality right off the bat. Since March scoring goals [in every home game] it is because they are good.
“Here we go, four games to play, 12 points to beat to qualify for the last 16.
“We are trying to win the next three. We have a plan, the mentality will be the same.
“Adjust them, I hope the way we play lets them adapt as much as possible. Control the game and try to get a result.
