Ghislaine Maxwell has been transferred to a low security prison in Florida, according to official documents.

The 60-year-old was convicted of luring young girls to massage parlors for disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein to assault between 1994 and 2004.

She appealed the sex trafficking conviction and 20 years in prison earlier this month.

Jail documents show Maxwell was transferred to FCI Tallahassee, a low-security prison in Florida’s capital.

According to a prison counseling firm, inmates can participate in yoga, an inmate talent show and watch movies.

A facility flyer shows inmates can play sports like softball, basketball, volleyball, and try hobbies like painting, leatherwork, art, and ceramics.

During her three-week trial, Maxwell was described as “dangerous” and jurors were told how she helped lure vulnerable teenagers to Epstein’s various properties for him to sexually abuse.

Maxwell’s lawyers previously indicated they would appeal the conviction after it emerged that one of the jurors in his trial failed to disclose he had been sexually abused.

Her attorney previously said juror Scotty David’s actions “demonstrated unreliability and an appetite for publicity” when the socialite requested a new trial.

Judge Alison Nathan rejected that.

And in submissions ahead of her sentencing hearing, Maxwell’s lawyers said she should face no more than four to five years in prison.

But the judge said she ‘was repeatedly and over many years involved in a horrific scheme to traffic young girls, some as young as 14’.

Judge Nathan added: “The defendant’s conduct…was abhorrent and predatory.

“Ms. Maxwell worked with Epstein to select vulnerable young victims and played a pivotal role in facilitating sexual abuse.”

Maxwell has been in jail since July 2020, despite numerous attempts to get her released on bail.

Epstein was found dead in his cell at a federal prison in Manhattan in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
