Gabby Agbonlahor in stitches as Tottenham fan suggests Jamie O’Hara should be Ryan Mason’s No2

talkSPORT’s Gabby Agbonlahor couldn’t help but laugh at the idea of Jamie O’Hara being Ryan Mason’s assistant at Tottenham.
Spurs are currently in the hunt for their next permanent manager following the dramatic departure of Antonio Conte in March.

His assistant Cristian Stellini was placed in interim charge but was sacked, with Mason taking over in the same role.
After a disappointing season, North London fans are hoping their new boss can deliver better results next season.
A supporter called Mike thinks former Spurs man O’Hara could be a solution, but Gabby was on hand to remind him of the former midfielder’s previous management efforts at Billericay.
Calling talkSPORT Breakfast, Mike said: “I think as a long-suffering Spurs fan, I think Spurs and talkSPORT aren’t looking very far in their search for a manager.

“You have an expert who comes on talkSPORT, he has more passion for Spurs in a conversation than anyone I listen to, and that’s Mr O’Hara. Why didn’t he throw his hat in the ring?”
Gabby asked: “Mike, didn’t you see what happened at Billericay? They sacked him faster than they could get rid of anybody else in their history of existence!”
In response, Mike pointed out the difference between the two teams: “Yeah but Gabby, Billericay isn’t Spurs, is he? He knows Spurs inside out, he didn’t know Billericay inside out.”
“You want O’Hara to be your manager,” Gabby asked, and Mike replied, “Well, why can’t he be Mason’s number 2? Jamie has a bit of management experience. , even though Gabby told Billericay…”

Gabby laughed and said, “He almost got them relegated, Billericay”, but Mike replied, “And what’s the deal with that?”
O’Hara spent just over a year at Billericay but although he didn’t enjoy much success at the Essex club, Mike is eyeing him for a role at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
talkSPORT understands that Ange Postecoglou, Ruben Amorim and Luis Enrique are on Spurs’ shortlist of managers.
They had been linked with Feyenoord’s Arne Slot last week but he has now committed his future to the Dutch club.
