Frontier Airlines Announces New Unlimited Pass for Summer Flights

(CNN) — Call it the Airline Summer Buffet.

Frontier Airlines has announced its new incentive to get travelers back in the air after the pandemic: an unlimited summer flight pass that costs $399.

There are a few catches to the enticing deal. You shouldn’t bet on planning your flights in advance, for example. You’ll need to book domestic flights the day before departure and international flights only 10 days before, according to the Frontier website.

And there are a few “blackout periods” each month when flights won’t be eligible for the “GoWild!” pass.

You’ll also need to purchase add-ons separately – like seat or baggage selection – and you won’t earn miles or status on flights you book with the pass. And, in addition to the price of the pass itself, for each flight booked, you’ll need to pay “$0.01 in airfare plus applicable taxes, fees, and charges at the time of booking,” according to the company’s website. Frontier.

Additionally, pass holders must be residents of the United States.
