Football coach returns after being fired for praying: ‘Face God’ and see what miracles He can do

A high school football coach fired for leading prayers on the 50-yard line said he would give thanks in the team’s home opener on Friday after his reinstatement.
Joseph Kennedy is expected to receive a $1.7 million settlement after the The Supreme Court ruled that his prayer was protected under the First Amendment. He is set to coach at Bremerton High School for his first game of the season.

“It’s really going to be great to know that the First Amendment, freedom of speech and freedom of religion are alive and well for all Americans,” Kennedy said.Ingraham’s Angle“As you said earlier, it is not politics that will save us. God must save us. We must save ourselves. We’ve got to get our butts moving, and that’ll show everyone that’s prayed that we’ve won. We won this together.”

Kennedy plans to “kneel down” and give thanks to God after the game for being back on the court and having the constitutional right to practice his faith.
“I challenge everyone to take it out on God,” he told Fox News. “Try it. Prove me wrong and you’ll see what miracles He could do in your lives. If an average Joe like me could do it, imagine what anyone in America could do.”
