Footage of Erling Haaland mocking Ben Godfrey goes viral as pair battle at Man City and Everton
The battle between Erling Haaland and Ben Godfrey is exactly what we love to see in the Premier League.
The two played the whole game as Manchester City and Everton played out a 1-1 draw in their last game of 2022 on Saturday.

He directed his celebration towards the Everton defender
No one has quite figured out how to handle the City striker all season, his effort against the Toffees going 21 in just 15 games.
His pace and power were a nightmare for just about everyone he met.
Godfrey tried to counteract this by getting physical with him at Goodison Park and he managed to get under his skin.
Haaland even celebrated when he drew a foul from the defender, while a clip of the Norwegian striker mocking the Everton man went viral on social media.
Godfrey got into Haaland’s head
No matter what you do, Haaland always seems to score and he was seen directing his celebrations at Godfrey after putting the ball in the back of the net.
Everton boss Frank Lampard enjoyed seeing the battle between the two players.
After the game, he said: “Two physical guys! Erling Haaland, what a player, to see him in the flesh, he is a special player. I like that side with Ben Godfrey.
Godfrey also said he enjoyed the battle, commenting: “I don’t need to tell you that Erling Haaland is a good player. I just had to do my job. Yes

Haaland even celebrated a foul against Godfrey
Haaland was fired up the whole game and was booked for a thoughtless tackle on Vitaliy Mykolenko, which could easily have been red.
