Fernandes punish Everton, Arsenal thwart Brighton, Cornet beat the Canaries and Liverpool take victory at Man City

The Premier League kicks off this weekend with so much at stake in 90 minutes for all teams, with the battle for the title and relegation on the wire.

This week’s fixtures see Manchester City host Liverpool, Man United head to Everton, Arsenal take on Brighton and Burnley travel to Norwich for a relegation battle.

Guardiola and Klopp face off this weekend for the biggest game of the Premier League season

Here’s our betting preview and top tips from this week’s matches…

Everton vs Man United: Betting Tip

It’s a huge game for different reasons for these two teams.

Everton are close to heading into the relegation zone as Man United continue to push for a top four finish.

The Toffees dropped a relegation six points on Wednesday night against Burnley, with the two battling for the lead at different stages, but eventually Burnley took the lead to make it 3-2.

Man United were held to a 1-1 draw against Leicester and are still just three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham.

This game promises to be full of goals and one player who could find another is Bruno Fernandes.

Fernandes has been directly involved in six goals in his four Premier League games against Everton and should be given a few chances on Saturday afternoon.

talkSPORT EDGE Tip: Fernandes at 15/8 (Bet365).

Arsenal vs Brighton: Betting Tip

Past matches and stats are heavily in favor of Arsenal over Brighton for this clash.

The Gunners are unbeaten in their last three against the Seagulls, all with a clean sheet as well.

Mikel Arteta’s side will also try to catch up with Tottenham, who are just ahead of them in the table but hold a slight advantage with one game less.

The Seagulls have drawn nine of their last 13 Premier League games in London.

Curiously, Brighton have never won a Premier League game in April in 15 attempts and everything seems to be in favor of an Arsenal result.

Norwich City vs Burnley: Betting Tip

Teemu Pukki has scored and lost four Premier League home games for Norwich City this season.

The Canaries have found their game in terms of wins, Norwich and Burnley have won only four times each, just a few games away from the final.

Burnley began their great escape with a victory over Everton and are now just one point behind the Toffees who are 17th.

Norwich, meanwhile, are six points behind and face a huge climb.

Particularly as Sean Dyche are unbeaten against Norwich – won two and drawn once – the only current PL side he has never lost against.

Maxwel Cornet was also one of the Clarets’ standout performers and he added to his tally with another and an assist against Everton on Wednesday night – he is now on seven goals in just 19 appearances.

talkSPORT EDGE tip: Cornet will score at 11/4 (Paddy Power).

Manchester City vs Liverpool: Betting Tip

It is certainly the match of the season and not to be missed because the title could well be decided on this single match.

Mohamed Salah has scored in four of his last five Premier League games against Man City – and he’ll be eager to go as he hasn’t scored in open play since February.

Phil Foden has scored in each of his last three Premier League games against Liverpool and the City side often share the goals between them.

Pep Guardiola has lost more matches in all competitions to Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp than to any other manager with a staggering eight defeats!

However, City have lost just one of their last 12 Premier League home games against Liverpool.

The stats and form of each side could be seen as swaying both ways and benefiting both.

It increasingly looks like it will come down to a moment of genius or error and it could land on the feet of one of Liverpool’s forwards.

talkSPORT EDGE Tip: Salah will score and Liverpool will win at 4/1 (Betfred).
