OAK GROVE, Mo. (KCTV) – An Oak Grove doctor is under federal investigation. FBI agents raided Dr. David Clark’s office on Tuesday.

Just after 10 a.m., Sue Moon arrived at the scene of officers invading the area outside her bookstore.

“There was a black van and a black truck,” Moon said.

Moon owns Read It Again Books on Broadway in Oak Grove. She described the scene to KCTV5.

“People, lots of people standing in groups to talk,” Moon said. “There are a lot of rumors, but I haven’t heard exactly what it was, just that it was the FBI.”

The FBI confirmed to KCTV5 “We had a legal presence in the area regarding an investigative matter. Oak Grove Police provided assistance.

“I heard they were doing Dr. Clark stuff,” Moon said.

Dr. David Clark directs Health Plus. On the clinic’s website, he is listed as a chiropractic intern and naturopath in private practice since 1975. Health Plus is described as a leading holistic alternative health center and wellness center. Also found on the website is the statement “The Doctor the Amish trust”.

On Wednesday, KCTV5 cameras spotted several Amish people visiting Clark’s clinic.

“They come by train, they have drivers,” Moon said.

Sue says it’s a well-known fact that Clark is very popular with the Amish.

“They come here from all over the country,” Moon said. “They often stay a few days. So the whole family will come – we saw all ages.

She said most of the time the doctor keeps a low profile.

“It’s been here a long time, it doesn’t have a sign or anything, a lot of people don’t know it’s a doctor’s office,” Moon said.

A doctor’s office is currently under investigation by the FBI, but it’s unclear why. Sue said what is clear, this kind of thing does not happen in Oak Grove.

“I don’t think it was on anyone’s bingo card,” Sue said.

KCTV5 made several attempts to contact Clark, but we got no response.
