Fat gay bombshells ‘Shazam 2’ Thursday night

Shazam! Fury of the gods opened to a pathetic $3.4 million on Thursday night.
The sequel to 2019’s modest hit is already set to bomb with a $35 million opening weekend. News of Thursday night’s gruesome catch makes these predictions wise and accurate:
New Line’s DC Sequel Shazam! Fury of the gods took off at 3 p.m. Thursday and posted $3.4M previewed in 3,400 theaters.
It’s less than the first Shazam! in April 2019, which grossed $5.9 million in its Thursday previews (excluding showtimes which began at 4 p.m.). Shazam! also had an additional $3.3 million in previous Fandango previews at the time, for a grand total preview of $9.2 million before a Friday of $20.3 million and an opening of 53.5 million. of dollars.
With superhero fatigue hitting everywhere, these men in spandex movies are loaded like never before. So a devastating $35 million opening is bad news for this $100 million sequel (not including promotional costs).
A good example is Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which opened better ($104 million) than the first two The ant Man movies ($57 million and $78 million) and quickly jumped the box office cliff. Ant Man 3 is set to play and has only grossed $201 million domestically and $451 million worldwide. Ant-Man and the Wasp grossed $216 million domestically and $622 million worldwide. The ant Man grossed $180 million domestically and $519 million worldwide.
Despite this beautiful opening, Ant Man 3 will have the chance to win more than $500 million worldwide.
It takes a long time to say that if Shazam! Fury of the gods indeed opens at a low $35 million; it’s probably doomed. The first one Shazam! opened at $57 million in 2019.
Knowing all this, why the morons behind Shazam! Fury of the gods running around bragging about how the movie is gay?
Why would these morons think anyone wants to watch one of Shazam’s superheroes break the storytelling spell with some sort of statement about his sexual preference for other hairy dudes?
Nobody wants to see that.
And as I said before, the blatant hypocrisy of this Shazam! the character is outrageous. He declines an invitation to a strip club, which is perfectly understandable for a gay man, but straight people are homophobic if they don’t want to expose themselves to homosexuality.
Shazam! was on its way to a viable franchise. The first movie didn’t make a lot of money, but the public’s goodwill seemed poised for sequels that would bring in more and more.
But Shazam! woke up, and what happens when you wake up…?
Lol.
Dear Hollywood: Make gay movies for gay people and straight movies for straight people.
Uh.
Oh, and anyone who wants to call me homophobic will have to explain all the lesbian porn I own, okay?
