Fans point out mistake in former UFC star Paige VanZant’s ‘dumbest’ new tattoo

Former UFC star Paige VanZant recently showed off a new tattoo to her three million Instagram followers – and they quickly noticed something was wrong.

The ex-strawweight fighter, who currently competes under the Bare-Knuckle Fighting Championship banner, got a “Heart of a Warrior, Soul of a Lion” tattoo.

VanZant’s new tattoo has been ridiculed on social media

“Heart of a Warrior, Soul of a Lion.” No one can ever deny how much heart I have in my fights,” VanZant wrote on social media.

“Sometimes I drop everything I’ve learned and fight with nothing but pride, which doesn’t always lead to the best result. It’s a reminder to myself, I already have heart and soul, all I have to do is take care of the rest.

After revealing her new tattoo to the world, a fan pointed out that she was tattooed with the wrong saying.

They said, “Isn’t it, ‘heart of a lion, soul of a warrior’?”

Another Instagram user poked fun at VanZant for getting “the dumbest tattoo ever” and slammed the artist for inking it on his body: “This is the dumbest tattoo ever.” Stupid of all time! He should be ashamed of himself for doing this to you.

The unfavorable responses to the 28-year-old’s new tattoo continued to pour in, with one fan asking, “Are you having a midlife crisis?” Another pleaded: “Please stop getting tattoos, it’s so bad.”

Paige VanZant has signed a multi-fight deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship

VanZant opted out of the UFC at the end of his last contract and went on to sign a lucrative deal with BKFC, but things haven’t gone according to plan since then.

Although the deal was a financial success for “12 Gauge”, its performance leaves much to be desired.

She has been winless since signing with the promotion, suffering decision defeats to Britain Hart and Rachel Ostovich.

Van Zant will return to action at Alexandra Palace in London on July 9.

PVZ has since lost consecutive fights against BKFC

A third straight loss will likely end her time at BKFC, but the former UFC fighter needn’t worry as she has plenty to fall back on outside of fighting.

After making a few sporadic appearances in professional wrestling in 2021, VanZant has signed a deal with AEW and will now begin a new career in a second sport.

The popular fighter also has her own successful fan site which launched in March 2021 after being bombarded with requests to provide more content.
