EXCLUDED. Mallaury Nataf: her life on the street, the psychiatric hospital… she breaks the silence after 10 years of hardship

“I am at peace. And ready to make my return”. After years spent on the street, Mallaury Nataf got out of trouble. Before making her comeback on television – and not only -, the former actress star of Honey and bees broke the silence in a long interview given to Closer. In the issue which appears this Friday, November 17, she confides in her last tumultuous years. If she had left the street for a few episodes of Mysteries of lovethe 51-year-old actress returned “for ten months” And “not by choice”.
For ten years in all, Mallaury Nataf lived “without cardboard, without mattress, without tent” in the streets of Paris. During her homeless years, she used “20 to 30 euros per day” that passers-by gave him to go “at the municipal shower” and to change its “clothes entirely” in order to be “always impeccable”.
As she assures us, the actress did not “never experienced serious assault”. With a “feeling of having been protected by (s)a lucky star”, However, she experienced several thefts of money and sometimes met people with bad intentions. But Mallaury Nataf never wanted to ask for help. “I never lean on others, she assures us. I thought I would be able to fend for myself. And when you find yourself outside, you no longer have any friends.”
It was a video broadcast in Touche pas à mon poste in January 2022 that was a saving grace for him. When informed, the public authorities placed her in a psychiatric hospital for four months. At Sainte-Anne, she saw “the scourge” experienced by other homeless people, like her. After a time in this “prison that does not say its name”Mallaury Nataf went to aftercare where she was “free to go out and come in” when she wanted to and where she was able to undertake the administrative procedures necessary for her reintegration.
Mallaury Nataf: his many projects
Thanks to “an adult-disabled allowance that is given after a stay in a psychiatric hospital, to APL” and to “help from Paris town hall”she can now pay the rent for the Parisian apartment in which she lives. She was also followed by three psychologists. “Everyone told me that I was not able to have an ordinary job, that I could not reintegrate into society with an ordinary job”, she remembers in our columns. As a challenge, today she wants to show them that they were wrong not to believe in her.
At 51, Mallaury Nataf is indeed preparing a comeback. And she will be on all fronts. As she revealed to us, she will first return to the small screens in The Mysteries of Love. But the actress’s life has also inspired otherswho are currently working on a play and a documentary which should be broadcast on Canal+. A singer for a time, Mallaury Nataf will also sing of her joy at having found her life again. And her children, as she also confided at length in this interview.
