Evander Holyfield’s Son Evan Holyfield Brutally Knocked Out By Companion Who Has Day Job As Electrician

Evander Holyfield’s son, Evan Holyfield, suffered the first loss of his professional boxing career on Saturday night as he was knocked out by Jurmain McDonald in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old child of the former undisputed world heavyweight champion started out as a pro in 2019 and went 9-0 before coming unstuck.

Holyfield is now 9-1

Holyfield was a heavy favorite in the fight.

His opponent McDonald is a journeyman who held a 6-5 record before the fight.

He also has a day job as an electrician and is therefore unable to fully devote himself to boxing.

Despite all that, McDonald found a perfect right hand in the second round that left Holyfield face down on the canvas.

The 24-year-old was defensively careless and left himself open for the shot, earning him his first loss.

Holyfield sat down and attempted to get to his feet, only for the referee to wave a fight.

Evander Holyfield was the undisputed heavyweight and heavyweight champion

The grievor decided he was in no condition to continue.

Holyfield wasn’t happy with that initially, but probably won’t have anything to complain about when he looks back.

He’s now 9-1 (6 KOs), while McDonald’s improved to 7-5 (3 KOs).
