EU says it will take all measures to prevent the variant from entering Europe

Well, like all the other variants, little they (or all of us for that matter) know is that it may have already spread across the region and the continent.

But if anything, keep an eye out for that because if there are more countries that have South Africa’s new COVID-19 variant, the rest of the world can shut their doors to them – at least until so that there is a better understanding of mutations.
