Erin Brockovich visits eastern Palestine after toxic train derailment: “All clear my a–!”

Environmental activist Erin Brockovich arrived in eastern Palestine three weeks after the catastrophic train derailment that devastated the small Ohio community to work with victims so that “they can get justice, know their legal rights and we can hold the railway accountable”.
In a tweet, Brockovich announced his arrival in eastern Palestine and his intention to hold a town hall on Friday, February 24 at 6 p.m. to work with the victims of the disaster. The 5,000 residents of the small Ohio community face devastating damage after a Norfolk South train carrying toxic chemicals derailed, causing an environmental disaster.
As an environmental activist, Brockovich is best known for her film “Erin Brockovich” which shares her involvement in a lawsuit against PG&E.
His visit comes after US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and former President Donald Trump both stopped in eastern Palestine to deal with the train derailment earlier this week. However, Brockovich made it clear that his visit was not political, tweeting, “I don’t care who you voted for, when crisis hits we’re all Americans, we’re all human beings.”

“@keithricheal074 lives 5 blocks from the derailment in #EastPalestine, and he says local police knocked on his door the night of the derailment to notify them.” Brockovich tweeted Thursday. “He says he’s worried about what will happen to his dogs months from now if they go out and eat grass.”
