encounter with tapirs and walk in the trees

Head to the Amazon for the regional Misses. The thirty candidates for the Miss France 2024 election took advantage of an excursion in the forest. On the Monday program: walk among the trees and meeting animals under the watchful eye of Cindy Fabre, director of the competition, and Indira Ampiot, Miss France 2023.
Rubber boots on their feet, denim shorts and a little yellow shirt, the nine young women had dressed accordingly. Guided by the owner of the place who, a few years ago, converted this zoo into a refuge, the Misses slipped into the skin of a healer. Once assured that all the animals were doing well, the Misses then set about preparing their food. They were taught how to cut fruits and vegetables, which differs depending on the animal.
Monkeys, tapirs, toucans, pumas and… a snake that invited itself into the ranks during a photo shoot. Discreetly pushed away by the caregiver, he escaped the attention of the Misses and did not have time to sow discord. The three hours of visit, in the heat and humidity, tested the candidates who remained professional and enduring until the end, according to our reporter Marine Corviole on site.
A week in Guyana
The Misses arrived in Guyana the day before. As usual, they were given a warm welcome by the local committee. After a few dance steps on the Cayenne tarmac, they headed to the hotel.
During this week of preparation for the Miss France exercise, the contenders will benefit from activities to discover the country, cultural visits without forgetting the famous general knowledge test.
For the Miss France election, see you in December. The ceremony will take place on December 16 at the Zénith in Dijon. The jury will be chaired by Sylvie Tellier, former director of the competition.
