Raducanu wasn’t the only seed to be eliminated early from Roland Garros.

Naomi Osaka suffered a first-round loss to Amanda Anisimova, the 20-year-old American who beat her in straight sets.

The sets went 7-5, 6-4 in favor of the American player as Raducanu’s second-round loss ended in a 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 clash.

Despite putting up a set in imposing fashion, Aliaksandra Sasnovich fought back by giving up just two matches in the next two sets.

Emma Raducanu third favorite for British tournament win despite Roland Garros exit

Halep won in 2019 and is 12/1 to win it for the second time

ATP No. 1 ranked women’s tennis player, Iga Swiatek is the clear favorite, but despite dominating recent tournaments, she offers good value at 10/3 in betting.

The Polish star was also dominant in his first-round victory in France after winning five tournaments in a row. Italian Open, Stuttgart Open, Miami Open, Indian Wells Masters and Qatar Open.

Raducanu faced Swiatek in the quarter-finals of the Stuttgart Open in April and after coming through the round of 16 and round of 16 fought back losing in straight sets by a respectable 6-4, 6-4 .

The Briton hasn’t been seen to the same effect that saw her victorious at the US Open, but a chance to play in front of a home crowd could boost her as a 10/1 underdog.
