US Open champion Emma Raducanu was knocked out of the Transylvanian Open after a complete quarter-final loss to Marta Kostyuk.

After winning her first two matches on the WTA Tour to reach the last eight in Cluj, Radacanu was beaten 6-2 6-1 by the sixth-seeded Ukrainian Kostyuk.
