Is Silicon Valley the new Beverly Hills?
In a drama worthy of the Real Housewives, The Wall Street Journal reports that billionaire pals Elon Musk and Sergey Brin fell out because the Tesla founder had an affair with the Google co-founder’s wife.
According to the report, Musk’s dalliance with Nicole Shanahan last year led to Brin hitting her with divorce papers – and now he’s divesting his personal holdings in his rival’s businesses.
Elon Musk rips Trump and tells him to ‘hang up his hat’
The newspaper says Musk and Shanahan met at Miami’s Art Basel festival last December, when he was on hiatus from his relationship with singer Grimes and she was estranged but still living under the same roof as Brin.
At a party earlier this year, sources told the Log, Musk knelt down and asked Brin for forgiveness. But things are still icy between the world’s richest man and the world’s 10th richest man.
Brin and Shanahan, his second wife and mother of their 3-year-old child, are now locked in divorce talks, with her seeking $1 billion of her $90 billion fortune.
Musk, meanwhile, was seen seducing several women around the world as he faced a tsunami of turmoil in his personal and professional life.
Those issues include a titanic legal battle with Twitter after it pulled out of a $44 billion deal to buy the social media platform.
Additionally, Musk has been hit with allegations that he sexually harassed and then paid a flight attendant on his private plane (he denies this) and his transgender daughter’s announcement that she was changing her last name because that she wanted nothing to do with her father.
Then there’s the reveal this month that Musk secretly had twins last year with one of his top executives. And let’s not forget last week’s reports that Musk’s father, Errol, had sex and had two children with his own stepdaughter.
