A large crowd movement has caused panic in Seoul during the Halloween festivities. At least 100 people have been taken care of, some of them in cardiac arrest. Hundreds of rescue workers have been deployed.
As reported by the AP news agency, several dozen people suffered cardiac arrest after being crushed by a dense crowd, on the night of October 29 to 30, during Halloween festivities, in a narrow street in the Itaewon district, Seoul.
Several videos have been shared on social networks. Attention, the publication below may offend the sensitivity.
At least a hundred injured
Quoted by AP, an official of the National Firefighters Agency reported a hundred people injured, including a number between life and death. Also according to AP, more than 400 rescuers from across the country, including virtually all available personnel in Seoul, were deployed to the streets to treat the injured. Authorities did not immediately release the death toll.
Videos shared on social networks show the arrival of first responders performing resuscitation gestures on people lying scattered in the street.

Police confirmed that many people had been taken to nearby hospitals.
Some South Korean media quoted by AP initially linked the drama to the fact that a large number of people rushed to a bar in Itaewon after hearing an unidentified celebrity go there.
