Donald Trump denounces his daughter Ivanka for daring to be honest with the January 6 committee | Local News

It seems the biggest sin any offspring of former President Donald Trump can commit is telling the truth…about him.
It happened Thursday during the initial hearing of the select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
And Trump, always defensive and paranoid, is happy to throw his daughter Ivanka under the bus for his honesty.
Nice dad.
It all started with a video clip of former Attorney General Bill Barr that played during the hearing. In it, Barr was asked about his decision to leave office and his reaction to Trump continuing to spread the big lie about voter fraud.
Bill Barr calls BS; Ivanka Trump accepts it
Barr said: ‘I made it clear that I disagreed with the idea of saying the election was stolen and publishing this stuff, which I told the president he it was bull —-. And I didn’t want to be part of it. »
A little later, the committee showed a video of Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, who served as her father’s adviser, in an interview on Jan. 6. She was asked what she thought of Barr’s assessment of her father’s cheating allegations.
She said she believed the attorney general.

“I respect Attorney General Barr. So, I accepted what he was saying,” Ivanka said.
Ooooo, daddy Donald has none of that.
As if we needed any more proof of how the former president is willing to go down to satisfy his ego, that’s it.
On his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Ivanka Trump has not been involved in reviewing or considering the election results. She had long since checked out and, in my opinion, was only trying to be respectful of Bill Barr and his position as Attorney General (he sucked!).”
A Father’s Day card is NOT mailed
So her handpicked attorney general was terrible and her daughter is a liar.
According to the committee, a number of other members of Trump’s inner circle in the White House will offer testimony that will support both Barr and Ivanka.
I guess Trump will attack each of them equally.
For now, however, it’s her own dear child who doesn’t know what she’s talking about – according to Trump – because she had “long since checked out”.
Well, if she hasn’t already, I guess Ivanka is most likely will be “check out” of an upcoming notable event.
Fathers Day.
If I was the Donald, I wouldn’t bother checking the mailbox for a card.
