The Miami Dolphins are trading receiver DeVante Parker to the New England Patriots, according to multiple reports.

The move sends Parker and a 2022 fifth-round pick to rival AFC East New England in exchange for a 2023 third-round pick, ESPN reported.

Parker is now arguably the most talented player in a Patriots reception room that includes Nelson Agholor, Kendrick Bourne and Jakobi Meyers. He has the potential to be the best option for second-year quarterback Mac Jones, who took to social media on Saturday to talk about his new teammate.

The Patriots are hoping the move can help the team earn its first playoff win since 2019. This week, owner Robert Kraft said he was bothered the team couldn’t make it through in playoffs over the past three years.

“I think we had an incredible two-decade span,” Kraft said. “After my family, there is nothing more important to me than the New England Patriots and winning football games. It’s my passion, so all I can do, I hope a little to make it happen, I’m here. I’m not happy that we haven’t won a playoff game in three years. So I think about it a lot.
